How to set up a filter for this

Postby Guest » Thu Jan 22, 2015 4:44 pm

Hey guys I am a limit holdem player and am trying to set up a filter for the following 3 handed situation:

BTN opens, SB coldcalls, BB (hero) calls. SB checks flop, BB checks flop, BTN bets, SB folds, and the action is now on BB.

I can't figure out how to specify that SB has folded the flop to BTN's continuation bet.

So far I have:

A) Position of Active Player Position of Selected Exactly 8 (Hero is BB)
B) Players Seeing flop between 3 and 3 (3 handed to the flop)
C) Called Preflop Called 2Bet (was single raised pot pre flop)
D) Raise Opportunity Type Raise Continuation Bet Opportunity (pre flop raiser (always BTN in my DB) has bet flop and SB has not raised)
E) First Flop Action Bet (flop wasn't checked through)

My database is only 3 handed hands btw. I just can't figure out how to specify that SB folds the flop. Any ideas?

That isn't a cold call - you can't cold call a first raise from a blind as you have some money in. In this case the SB is calling a steal from the button he isn't calling cold.

Ok, fair enough. Do you know how I would set this filter up though?

I can't think of a good way to do this with the filters in More Filters but the following will get the flop situation as a Filter Expression used in My Reports:

cash_hand_summary.str_aggressors_f LIKE '0%' and cash_hand_summary.str_actors_f LIKE '09%'

The entire thing as an expression is probably most simply done just by specifying all actions since it's 3 handed and fairly straightforward to do so. This would do it:

cash_hand_summary.cnt_players = 3 and cash_hand_summary.str_aggressors_p = '80' and cash_hand_summary.str_actors_p = '098' and cash_hand_summary.str_aggressors_f LIKE '0%' and cash_hand_summary.str_actors_f LIKE '09%'

The aggressors string on a street is the list of the positions in order of aggressive (bet or raise) actions. Actors string is the list of positions in order of any action putting money into the pot (so it includes calls).
