PT4 not detecting 888/wsop on mac

i cant get 888 or wsop to work on my PT. I have been looking at a lot of the forums and the help provided here but all the guides seem to be made for windows. my hud works fine on party/borgata, just recently tried 888/wsop and Autodetect tells me that it cant detect pacific network. i have gone on to the settings on both of the sites and enabled them to save my hand history, but im still doing something wrong. please help!

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder.

i guess im just ignorant to this set up or something because i cant even follow your instructions. restart using the start menu? i have a mac, there is no start menu. However i did close the program and restart it, tried to autodetect 888 again, and same error that cant detect pacific network or whatever. i did click file but instead of “show user data” mine says “open user data”(im pretty sure thats what you mean but just wanted to point it out that it was different) it then shows 4 different folders and i dont see any text file that says PokerTracker 4(4 folders are config, data, logs and temp)

i just dont get why borgata/party set up works fine and so many issues with 888/wsop. getting frustrated here

I don't know if you are new to PT4 or not, but it sounds like you're having the same problem as me. I have configured the site manually and it still refuses to import hands, I have filed a support ticket, so hopefully we'll have a solution soon.

yeah i just got PT4 a week or two ago, never used huds. was happy with the ease of setting up borgata, dont really know what my problem with 888 is, but i play more on wsop and 888 so frustrating paying $100 and only getting 33 % usage

The hand history folder for 888NJ is not yet detected automatically - we have this issue in our system to be added.

However; you can configure it manually.
This is complicated by the fact that 888 store their hand histories inside the application package, which means that you can't select the hand history folder within PT4 when it is in the default location.
What you need to do is make a new normal folder for the hand histories (in 'Documents' for example) and configure the 888 software to write the hand histories there instead. To do this go to Settings > Game Settings in the 888 lobby menu. Make sure that 'Keep my hand history in" is ticked, then click 'Change Folder' and choose your new folder. Click 'Save and Close'.
Now in PT4 go to Configure > Sites & Import Options > 888 and add the new folder manually.

Thanks whiterider, i did do what you suggested and i do see that it is picking up that i am in a tourney on 888. however the HUD still has not popped up. and it doesnt seem to recognize my WSOP at all. i also have a problem that when i click stop collecting hands, the program just seems to freeze up and i am unable to close PT4 regularly, and am forced to force close the program

In that case please send us the log file and it will show us where the trouble with the HUD is.

yeah i know you asked me to do that before Krada, but im new to macs and new to pT4 and i cant figure out how to send that file you are asking for. i apologize for being so ignorant to this process, im usually pretty good with these types of things.

update* i saved copied some files and saved them to a different folder and believe i sent them over to you guys. let me know if thats what you need

I think I have the same problem - I submitted a ticket.
