Glitchy effective stack filter?

Postby TRNSLTR » Sun Apr 23, 2023 9:05 am

Filtered hands facing open effective and actual stack size 22-45BBs, but the result shows me several hands like the one in printscreen where there are several stacks behind me with stacks lower than 22bbs. Any way to filter this correctly? What would be necessary is a filter that shows effective stacksize range for the table, then I could make actual stacksize filter for my stack, and effective stack filter for the table so that effectively nobody is shorter than me.

Same situation for just RFI spots vs players behind, so the current effective stack filter works only in some player vs player situations I guess, not effective vs all players still in hand

Effective stack is calculated per player as of their first action in the hand and it's the maximum amount they could potentially lose so that's working correctly for you in that hand. Effective stack is determined per player or it wouldn't scale to non-heads up situations well. The data to filter based on the smallest stack in a hand isn't currently stored in the PokerTracker 4 database schema.

Sorry, didn't quite understand this. Does it check my stack being in the range of my "effective stack range" and being covered by at least one opponent in the hand? So that I "can loose" the effective stack to at least one opponent? But all stacks at the table being above certain stacksize is impossible to filter?

It also depends on the action in the hand as a players effective stack is only determined as of their first action. If in your example hand all the players in earlier position folded those stacks would not be taken into account and if you covered every player behind you then your effective stack would be equal to the largest stack of the players behind left to act.

This information isn't stored in the PokerTracker 4 database schema so there isn't a built-in filter for that. If you want to be automatically notified if this information is added to the database schema you can let us know in a Support Ticket.
