Convert HUD Pop up group to table group

Vacuum/analyze gives different transaction and file (that's not found).

I only have files named 0000...0007 in the pg_clog directory.

I guess the db is finished then?

As for the (almost) original topic, converting a $hud to Thud works... but need to convert all custom stats manually, which seems quite unnecessary imo.

From what you've said here and in other threads I'm guessing the database is indeed toast. Unless you had a crazy anti-virus quarantining PostgreSQL files too? That could make some of these files vanish and if you restored them there's a vague chance the vacuum could finish. But I wouldn't be holding my breath . . .

Can't find anything in Avast's quarantine. I'm moving on to a new db... only lost some notes and time, as the hands are re-importable.

Walkman_, if you're comfortable with a hex editor, it's one byte (might be one bit, can't recall) that makes the switch.

kraada... iirc, there were a couple of other small differences in the popup/tablegroup format, but I couldn't figure out their importance. I suppose the file format still isn't published?

I'm very comfortable with :D is there a chance to convert the whole table group to a popup group and viceversa?
