Tracking on Party poker

I used PT4 today in a tournament on Party Poker, I final Tabled and started with 4-5 new players which PT4 wasn't tracking properly, For example after about 30-40 hands it had only tracked 13 hands 6 hands and 4 hands of three players at the final table. Basically it put up no stats. I checked everything and the hands where importing and I was getting more hands and stats of some players and next to none of others,

I dont recall having this problem prior to the update I installed today. Just for the informations but I am not 100%

For what it is worth I was also watching a friend of mine at a final table on pokerstars "Observed but not imported" Maybe it got confused? though it was saying that the party hands where getting imported.

This sort of behaviour can happen when you have "Number of players filtered" ranges set up in the HUD Options. This shows stats from hands based on the number of active players in a hand. Have a look at "Player Ranges" in the PT3 Tutorial: Configuring HUD Options, which works the same way.
The default ranges have now been removed from PT4 due to this kind of confusion - they will give you more relevant stats, but if you don't know what they're doing they can be confusing.

I think it would have less to do with me not knowing what I am doing and more to do with me not knowing its set like that as a default. Which literally unless I stumbled across it I would have no idea it was running as such. Thats where I would think the confusion would begin.

Now I just want to look into it, where is the option in PT4?

These options are in Hud --> Edit Hud Options --> General Settings and you can find the box in the middle of the right hand column.

As a result of the feedback we have gotten we will be removing these default settings at some point in the near future (though you will of course be able to add them yourself should you so desire).

Is it just the default settings for a new PT4 installation that will be removed? So we'll still be able to filter based on number of players? For example, I set Min & Max to 2 for heads-up play and don't want to see 10-handed stats.

Can the options be enhanced like HM2? For example, if I have Min=3 and Max=6, and player #7 just got eliminated to have six players left, I don't want the stats to suddenly go to zero; instead I want to see the stats filtered for 6-10 players.

You can still use that setting, it's just that we no longer add defaults when you first run PT4.
Allowing overlapping ranges was being discussed, but I'm not sure on the state of that discussion. I will remind the development team about it for you.
