id_f_hand_strength

Postby SS24 » Wed Jan 11, 2012 6:18 pm

In situations when at the player pocket pair and it of less cards bord, a cell id_f_hand_strength = 0, and in my opinion should be id_f_hand_strength = 4
Example. «Hero» - 33 Flop - 79J, flg_f_1pair = true, id_f_hand_strength = 0

I apologise for my English, it is difficult to me to explain in English as I do not know it and I use the electronic translator. At me it is a lot of questions like it, but I do not know, how them to formulate, whether there is a dialogue possibility in Russian.

This is intentional - 4 is between the bottom card and the middle card on board.

For example on a 5TK board the pocket pairs 66, 77, 88, or 99 would all be strength 4. Strength 5 is for JJ, QQ and 6 would be only AA on that board.

Logically id_x_hand_strength = 0, it is the given combination on bord. In this case a combination it is better to consider as bottom pair, instead of pair bord.

On force the given hand is closer to bottom to pair, than to pair bord as Hero with this hand beats bord.

Please attach the original hand history to a Support Ticket so that we can check the values.
Thanks.

Probably, the post has been misunderstood because of my bad English. I have simply written, that it seems to me of the logician of assignment of value to force of a hand in the brought example is wrong. If you do not agree with it so that and to be. And if agree, probably decide to correct, and it already will be your decision.

This is the intended behavior of this value.

You can figure out whether or not you have a pocket pair or the pair is on board by checking the value of your hole cards.

Straight.
id_r_hand_strength = 0, it should seems to me to be logically id_r_hand_strength = 1

Yes those definitely should be. Please export one of these hands and attach it to a support ticket for us so that we can get that fixed.

If I am necessary I will send the ticket, but in history of games there is nothing such especial and the given situation is inherent and PT3.

Having the hand history will be extremely useful for us - it will help us fix this problem much more easily. If you would be willing to provide them we would appreciate it.
