PKR Support

Thanks, but what isn't clear to me (or anyone else it seems) is why you need explicit authorisation from PKR.

in our business we work with the site or network, it is not wise to do things against their wishes.

PS: PKR's CEO did not meet with us.

News: Numerous mutual business relationships asked PKR's President to meet with us, each time there was polite and seemingly positive responce, but in the end they did not respond to our emails. We tried... but there has been no responce from PKR. All we wanted was a response, ANY response, so we know how to proceed. We have the technology in place to support PKR, but we the CEO, president, or other authorized representative of management's wishes to allow us to proceed first. We do not know why PKR has chosen to not communicate with us, but there is nothing we can do without their involvement. Sorry....

I spoke with someone about this situation during PKR live recently, and it seems there is an issue about what its gonna cost, as PT4 wants to do a deal with PKR over this, and so, PKR aren't interested in doing some kind of deal. they told me its a recreational site, and HUd's and stuff shouldn't be used, however, that's ok, but HEM/HEM2 seems to run on it, so, the reason i think PKR support will not become available on PT4, is due to some kind of Deal PT want to with PKR, this is what i have been lead to understand.

so, as the options are getting more and more limited, looks like i'm gonna have to move over to HEM.........cause its all about making deals, rather than giving the existing clients the support they were promised over a year ago, as u can tell i am disappointed.

That would be news to us. We have never had a single word with PKR, they will not respond to emails sent by mutual associates.

Which is our issue as well. The Terms of Service appear to not allow our software to work, but it is not very clear - hence we need confirmation from PKR that our development would not conflicting with the PKR TOS. This is very standard, we always receieve permission first before we add import and HUD functionality - for example take a look at Revolution Network as a good example. They did not allow PokerTracker support back when they were called Cake, then they allowed tracking but not a HUD and we complied. Then they allowed us to add a HUD but only at the current table session, and finally they allowed a full HUD to exist. We would never take that first step without the approval of the network first, PKR is no different. PokerTracker is not a "greyhat" company, we only wish to work with companies that welcome our services.

An agreement that we have the permission to develop PokerTracker 4 features for PKR is needed first. Would you build a house on a plot of land that you did not own without an agreement from the land owner first? Rather than expressing your anger with us, you should be angry at PKR for not responding to any of our requests to talk about adding the functionality you request. This is 100% out of our hands. You mentioned HM2's compatibility, but that is a different company... we are not privy to any agreements they have with PKR (or if they ignored the PKR Terms of Service - something we will not do).

PS: We have been reaching out to the CEO and management, I doubt a lower level worker at PKR Live would really know anything about this situation other than speculation.

thanks for the update on your side, i will speak with the person who i was talking with, as they are definately not a lower level member of staff, so i will see what i can do to get this moved along.

any updates on this ? Seems silly pt4 does not support it, im having to u use HEM2 as well currently in a trial and it sucks balls :cry:
