Session Review/Equity Calculator/Hands List

Postby wangtangkiki » Wed Dec 21, 2011 12:36 am

My first issue is with how the sessions are organized. It's really difficult / confusing. When I click on the session, it leads me to tables. I don't know many people that even use the "By Table" feature from PT3..
I think it would be a lot better if when I organized my hands by session, and I double click the session, all the hands pop-up so I can organize the hands whichever way I like instead of by tables.

My second problem is with the Equity Calculator. When I go to the hand replayer, and I want to check out a stat on my HUD, I can't progress to the next street because it just gives a beeping sound. I want to be able to see my odds and equity from street to street but I can't because it prevents me from clicking "Next" or "Flop"..

My last issue is that I do not see the option to view all my hands by specific pre-flop hand values like AQo, AQs, AA, 33, 97o. This was a big feature because I could see which hand I played incorrectly. I could obviously go in and set a filter for each of these, but it takes a lot more time, and it would be more organized / faster to view them like the "Hands" tab in PT3.

To see complete session:
Had the same issue with 1st one. What you want is luckily already implemented. Go to Results or Statistics, and pick Summary report. Now select Group by Session on left side. Now don't double click a session, but rather just select it, and in the bottom table list of hands should show up. Select to show all and there you have a list of all hands played in the session.

Are you saying your hand replayer is not showing you turn or river? I never experienced this so I cant really help. What you should do is write down exactly how to reproduce this so someone from PT can check it out and hopefully fix it.

To see report broken down by Starting Hands:
Go to Results or Statistics and choose report Summary, then Group by Starting Hands (Holdem).

You can't advance to the turn or river because if you click, it doesn't do anything, and just makes a sound warning you that you can't click. Only the Equity Calculator will be the active window. I can do anything I want on the equity calculator, but I can't switch to the turn to see what odds I am getting to adjust my hand and the opponents range..

Once you open the equity Calculator, it will be the only active window, you can't go to your hand replayer, or look at a different hand in your DB without closing it.

I will try the other stuff thanks.

Also I'm sure there is a way to get around it not showing the table you were at, but it would just be a lot easier to do it the previous way so you can just see the current session and all the hands, not the table. (EDIT: Okay I've tried it, and I now understand, although it would be easier if it was like previously, but I can adjust to this. Thanks)

Once you have opened the equity calculator that window needs to be closed before you can do anything else in the replayer. You would need to close it to step to the next street. If you re-open it then it would contain the information relevant to that situation. I can see that it would be useful to be able to step through the hand and keep the equity information up to date, but I'm not sure how practical that would be from a technical point of view. I will mention your request to the development team.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by this - if you select Group By Session in the Summary reports (for example) it will list all of the hands for any tables played during the same session. Isn't that what you want?
