Postgres Timezone Error

I moved from PST timezone to EST timezone and get the "The timezone on your computer and the timezone used by Postgres, the database server, do not match." message when I open PT4. I have followed the directions on the link provided on the error page but my hands still import in PST.

I have tried changing the following in the postgresql.conf in the data folder
log_timezone = 'America/New_York'
timezone = 'America/New_York'

I also have tried changing the following in the postgresql.conf in the share folder
#log_timezone = 'EDT'
#timezone = 'EDT'

Appreciate any help! Thank you.

Did you restart the PostgreSQL service or your computer after making the changes? If you have then make sure you are editing the postgresql.conf file in the correct version of PostgreSQL for the one that PokerTracker 4 is using on your computer otherwise please let me know the version of PostgreSQL that PokerTracker 4 is connected to and on the full path of the file you are editing.

I just updated the PostgreSQL service and that worked!

Thank you -- I was unaware that restarting the computer was not the same as restarting the server! :D
