4.18.12 GGPoker Get file from Disk Stop working

Postby Annuit20 » Sat Jul 26, 2025 9:44 am

Hello, with 4.18.12 the import of GGPoker HH only works partially, some HHs cause a "loop".
Can you please try to replicate the problem?
I have created a new clean database 2 weeks ago, I have also tried housekeeping.

I can't reproduce that on my end:

Try moving the .zip file off your desktop, transfer it to another location such as C:\Hands and then try the import again.

Okay, thanks for testing.
Thats strange.
Most single files work without problems.
Import start with 0.2% CPU for the PostgreSQL and after it "freeze" it goes up to 6-10% (AMD 5950).
I follow your advice and put it into C:.

I made a backup and reinstall postgre. Maybe this helps.

Didn't help either.
I can read in older RAW files folders without any problems. 250h/s

So we can follow up with you on this please turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next reproduce this issue and then attach your hand histories and log file to a Support Ticket:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Logs\PokerTracker4.log

To access the log file open File Explorer in Windows and enter the following in the address bar:

%localappdata%\PokerTracker 4\Logs

The file we need will be the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder.
