Advanced CoinPoker Converter

Postby chrisyt » Fri Jul 25, 2025 8:17 pm

Is their a good guide to setting up the coinconverter program with pokertracker 4 for windows 11
It kinda works, What doesn't work tho is the Hud where the player positions are always in the wrong place.
The Hand replayer which shows the graph of my hands played corrrectly but if i select a hand to replay it doesn't know who i am
in the top left hand corner it shows A player tho thats not me, and it doesn't show my hole cards.
maybe a different point, but the hud while playing shows All coin poker hands not session hands, i've changed all the settings to do this but it don't seem to apply

on the emulator i've the Add Suffix checked and the HUD checked.
When getting hands, their are no errors in the input (there was but it's now fixed)
I'm playing as an alias.

I've followed the guides i can find to set everything up right but i must have something wrong.
So, is there a sort of check list 'do this'?
else the solution could be long and complicated.

sorry for long post i've tried to include everything usful.
Cheers
Chris

There is a guide and video for the Advanced CoinPoker Converter here.

That is an issue which should be resolved so if you are not using the latest version of PokerTracker 4 please update it:

Download PokerTracker 4

then turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options', restart PokerTracker 4 then join a table and play some hands. If you have any further trouble take a screenshot of your desktop and create a support bundle via the 'File -> Create Support Bundle' menu option in PokerTracker 4. When that file has been saved attach your screenshot, converter hand histories and support bundle to a Support Ticket where a technician can test the hands, review your logs and advise you accordingly:

Many thanks.
but i've moved back a bit, because i Think in pokerstars, i've set the save directory to the same converter directory, i.e. the same one as coinpoker directory. So i Think, (but don't know) the program has recorded the same hand in two different directorys the pokerstars directory (played hands) And the coinconverter directory. this Might be confusing things i don't know.
so i'm going to try to clear that mess up, then if things arn't working follow your advice above.
Many thinks.

gonna take a lot of deleting, reimporting, or something like that, might mess things up fatally! i don't know.
cheers.

I don't recommend using a PokerStars format for CoinPoker hands in the converter and/or configuring it under PokerStars in PokerTracker 4. You can have the hands import natively as CoinPoker hands by setting the converter to OHH and then configure the folder where the hands are saved under CoinPoker in PokerTracker 4. And if you are playing on multiple sites then those hands should not be configured to save in the same folder - they should be kept entirely separate from one another.

Does the pokerstars default save directory get changed to be the same directory as the converter directory?
And
are there now two copies of the hand? one in pokerstars and one in coinpoker or should there be only one?
Cheers

yip i followed the converters directions.

The hud is always out by three to the right.
don't know if that means anything.
when playing live that is.

The directories should be different.

There should only be one copy of a hand.

Check your preferred seating settings in your poker site and PokerTracker 4:

Guide: Preferred Seating

You can also move and save new positions for the HUD if required:

i've gone with the OHH one you said above which makes a lot of sense. what happens now is it saves the files as COIP23424.ohh
it saves fine, it moves it to processed fine. but it dowsn't recognise the extension ohh.

Unexpected parameter D:\PT4 etc.\COIP234234.ohh

Much thanks for all your help.

OK - sounds like that format might not be supported so try another. I don't personally have access to CoinPoker or the converter software so if you have any further trouble please contact Advanced Poker Tools support or open a Support Ticket:
