I would like to confim the authenticity of the CoinPoker HHandConverter and if it's actually safe????

I ask because you officially link to the download within you software, so I assume you have checked it's origin and authenticity?

My computer is going awal trying to download it, even after i've downloaded it it gets auto-detected and quarinteined before i can open it...

I believe it thinks it's some kind of trojan?

Please confirm, i assume you can, otherwise you really should not be linking officially through the pokertracker software...

PS, the only reason i'm still thinking of using it, is because Pokertracker is a respected brand and don't believe you'd be reckless enough to link officially without doing due diligence.

It is of extra concern, because its software related to blockchain use.... which is a very susceptible industry for cyber crime...

Writing hand histories for sites that do not provide hand histories requires programming techniques which can incorrectly be flagged as a virus or trojan. There have not been any known security issues (other than false positives via scan) with the converter software but if you have any doubts you can submit the files to your security software provider for analysis.

Well actually, i can do better than that and save a lot of time too....

I brought DriveHud2, which has coinpoker support and even has a working live/real-time HUD.

I have to say i'm very disappointed with how far behind the game PT4 are these days... but I guess that's what happens when you get the one-time licence fee upfront, when people stop buying, you have less incentive to stay on top of the competition....

If DriveHud2 can do it.... there really is no reason PT4 can't too...

Not really sure how, probably an inbuilt grabber, but either way DriveHud2 have done what PT4 haven't, so as i said i brought a copy because they cater to the modern-day needs of a cash game player...

I can tell you what happens here, the coinpoker converter starts a screen scraper which Could be malware.
Tho i've used it for over a year and it's been fine.
Anyway to answer your problem, what i finally did was disable my virus program, then start the converter then all is well.
It's the Launch of the converter or the start of the 'malware' that is the problem.
I talked to avast, cos i was adding it to exemptions, but IF you did that, it would also exempt something that should be blocked.
The virus programs seem to have a problem with the Launch not it running.
