database error frequently

i play 100+ hours a month 6-8 tables, i would have to repair my database approx once a month, but now all of a sudden since february it has bee happening once every 2 hours. the error code. i run version 2.17.01g
error code:
DBCode: -1206 Error text + s1000
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Cannot open database "|". It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt.

No changes made to database.

INSERT INTO players ( screen_name, treeview_icon, player_id, main_site_id, hide_ind, ring_player, tourney_player ) VALUES ('Tachchen1', 1, 26000, 3, 0, 1, 0 )

This erro message was written to the error file: C:\Program Files\PokerTracker V2\pterrorlog.txt. Please send this file AND the hand history file that caused the error to [email protected] so that we can diagnose the problem.

LIke i said its doing this every 2 hours of play.

If it works for a while after the repair and then comes back then this error means you have hit the maximum allowable file size for an Access database file (imposed by Microsoft, not PT) so you need to start a new database using the File/Maintain Database Names window and then start importing hands into that. If you are importing hands from tables you are just watching, then make sure to change the configuration to point to this new database as well so it doesn't try to add them to this full database.

Another option is to convert the database to the PostgreSQL database format that does not have the file size restriction. See this post for more details.
