Hi,

Im having problem with PT. Im using vista, and running PT with admin rights.

I try compact a poker database and hand history database. It sayes: 'Unable to compact the poker database. Make sure that don't have the database open in another program'.
Everything is closed, i even checked task manager and theres nothing.

Wheres the problem?

Restart the computer. As soon as it comes back up, open just Poker Tracker (Vista must ask you to cancel/allow PT to run or you aren't running as administrator) and try to do the compact.

Doesnt help, i restarted my computer and still sayes the same.
Im using eurobet(ongame), any other tips?

Close PT.
Go to the Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC) window.
Click on the System DSN tab. Find the entry PTRACK, click on it and click the Configure button.
On the next window, click the Repair button and then OK when prompted. What happens when you do this? Does it work or give an error?

There is no PTRACK. System Data sources are empty.

Did this used to work or is this the first time you have tried it?
Are you a registered user?

This is first time im trying this and im registered user.

Download and install the full version again...

Right-click on the setup file you download and select 'run as administrator' to do the install.

Then try the compact again.

No diffenrence, i deleted the PT and installed it again, then import the hands again and still sayes the same.

I would recommend converting to PostgreSQL then, I don't know why it's doing this, I haven't had any other issues like this with Vista.
