Max #hands in access database?

Postby rizzobox » Mon Aug 18, 2008 9:47 am

I've just installed Vista and can't for the life of me get gametime+ to work well with postgres. I've tried every version from 8.3 to 8.0.
The "new" version of gametime works, the one that autoadds tables, but it often adds the wrong table, and when I try to un-add it it crashes the table and thats not good.

The old and good gametime+ version gets "error number: 80040e4e" odbc blabla.. I've tried downloading a number of odbc drivers also but to no success.

I guess my only solution now is to have my database as an access database, friends use it so I know that it works, but how many hands can such a database store?

Usually between 200,000 and 250,000 hands is the max for an Access db.

Thank you, then I guess I'll use PT2 with access for my gametime hud, and PT3 as my recordkeeper.

Have you tried this version of GT+ - this version is (was) being maintained by a user that I believe has fixed a lot of issues...

Oh, have never seen it, gonna have a look.. many thanks!

(tried using gametime with access and it worked great, so that's pretty good and it doesn't really bother me only being able to keep 100k hands in the database)
