What my personal stats really are?

Postby p1rado » Mon Apr 07, 2008 10:26 am

When I use the "show mine"option, what does it really mean?

Let's say I enabled the show mine to VP$IP.

It will show at the table my overall VP$IP to all hands in all databases?

Or it will show my VP$IP ONLY at this session?

Or only at this session AND at that table?

How does it works?

Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!

Your self stats are only for the current table session and this is not configurable...

And what if I close a table and then rejoin? (after a few seconds)

Will the stats reset?

Thanks!!!

No, if you rejoin the same table within 30 minutes it's considered the same session.

Will there be a way in the HUD within PT3 to see what all "our" HUD stats are? So we could simply view our pop up stats within HUD for all our hands played. This would come in handy as a general idea of what some of our more "regular" opponents might think of us.

Probably not. Querying your lifetime self stats, especially after you've played a lot of hands is rather harsh on the database and could slow things down. Considering you can simply change the tab in PT3 and view your lifetime stats makes it not worth the while.

What tab shows all the info the HUD shows? Can't beleive I've never actually looked in PT2 for this info. Where can I find all the same info found when using the HUD pop up stats (such as Cbet%, cbet turn %, fold to cbet%, raise cbet%, fold to turn bet%, ect...)?

(Sorry for the stupid question)

Derek said PT3. Not all of the stats are available in PT2, but will be in PT3 since the new HUD will be part of the same app.

"Querying your lifetime self stats, especially after you've played a lot of hands is rather harsh on the database and could slow things down"

I understand that statement. However, I have a very powerful computer and am willing to take a chance and see just how much using my lifetime stats slows me down. Also, it would be easy enough to give us a config option to "query last XXX self stats after every NNN hands" if I only wanted to slow my system down a little bit <g>. IMHO it is always better to give your users more options, and let them decide what performace hits are acceptable.
