cnt_call/raise, flag_t_float flg_t_donk,flg_p_ccal on 3b pot

Postby marvin » Mon Oct 19, 2009 6:57 am

IN THIS ACTION:
pf: utg raise, b 3-bet, c call, button call, utg call. /f: utg check, b bet, c call, button and utg call./t: utg check, b check, c check, button bet, utg call, b raise, c 3bet, button call, utg call, b call.
i know that if the pot wasnt 3betted and b was the PFA, 1,2, 3 were true, but in the case utg was first raise, and PFA is 3-bettor, then im in doubt (*).
1)flg_t_donk_opp of utg is true?
2)flg_f_cbet of b is true?
3)flg_t_float of button IS TRUE?
if 3 is true:
4) holdem_hand_player_statistics.enum_t_float_action='R' is false about UTG (WHY he calls)
5) holdem_hand_player_statistics.enum_t_float_action='R' is true why he raise, (also if is not the PFA)
6) holdem_hand_player_statistics.enum_t_float_action='R' is false (why the only player who can have something of true is PFA)
7) cnt_t_call of c=0
8) cnt_t_call of button=1
9)cnt_t_call of button = 2 (not 1, why is hes calling raise+3bet), in the same way, cnt_t_call of utg = 3 (why he is calling bet+raise+3bet)
10) cnt_t_raise of c = 1 (why he raises only 1 time, also if he is doing 3-bet
11) flg_p_ccall of c is true? (he is calling a raise, also if it is a 3bet.)
12) flg_p_ccall of utg is true why he is calling a raise
13) flg_p_ccall of utg is false why he had opened so his call is not cold call.
14) the blinds have the opportunity of cold call if they are facing 3 bet?

(*) why someone has put this in repositary:
cnt_f_float: sum(if[ holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_face_raise and holdem_hand_player_statistics.cnt_p_raise = 0 and holdem_hand_player_statistics.cnt_p_call = 1 and holdem_hand_player_detail.flg_f_open_opp and holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_f_bet and holdem_hand_player_detail.val_p_raise_aggressor_pos > holdem_hand_player_statistics.position, 1, 0])
and in this case: pf: utg raise, SB 3bet, utg call (others players fold) - f: sb check, utg bet. this is not counted like floatbet in that user built counter, but for analogy,
i wish know if in this action: pf: utg raise, SB 3bet, utg call (others players fold) - f: sb bet, utg call (THEN SB IS CBETTING), Turn: sb check, utg bet.

15) flg_t_float of utg IS TRUE?

Sorry about all theese doubts, may be that having the script of the various flag would have helped, why i can read them and understood all specifics. It is possible having them? (AND BEING SURE THAT MY VERSION IS UPDATED WITH THAT SCRIPT, IF THEY ARE BEEN MODIFIED IN VARIOUS VERSION)

pf: utg raise, b 3-bet, c call, button call, utg call. /f: utg check, b bet, c call, button and utg call./t: utg check, b check, c check, button bet, utg call, b raise, c 3bet, button call, utg call, b call.

1)flg_t_donk_opp of utg is true?
2)flg_f_cbet of b is true?
3)flg_t_float of button IS TRUE?
if 3 is true:
3.a) about player utg, holdem_hand_player_statistics.enum_t_float_action='C' is false (why the only player who can have something of true is PFA = PLAYER B)
4) like 3.a if 3 is false, in other words: if a pot is not 3bet on preflop and utg is the pfa, and button makes a float bet, another player (in mp, then not the PFA) call, then about him holdem_hand_player_statistics.enum_t_float_action='C' is false. why he is not PFA (aLSO IF HE HAS CALLED THAT BET, BUT FOR HIM THAT IS NOT A FLOAT BET)
5) cnt_t_call of c=0
6) cnt_t_call of button=1
7)cnt_t_call of button = 2 (not 1, why is hes calling raise+3bet), in the same way, cnt_t_call of utg = 3 (why he is calling bet+raise+3bet)
8) cnt_t_raise of c = 1 (why he raises only 1 time, also if he is doing 3-bet
9) flg_p_ccall of c is true? (he is calling a raise, also if it is a 3bet.)
10) flg_p_ccall of utg is true why he is calling a raise
11) flg_p_ccall of utg is false why he had opened so his call is not cold call.
12) the blinds have the opportunity of cold call if they are facing 3 bet?

(*) why someone has put this in repositary:
cnt_f_float: sum(if[ holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_face_raise and holdem_hand_player_statistics.cnt_p_raise = 0 and holdem_hand_player_statistics.cnt_p_call = 1 and holdem_hand_player_detail.flg_f_open_opp and holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_f_bet and holdem_hand_player_detail.val_p_raise_aggressor_pos > holdem_hand_player_statistics.position, 1, 0])
and in this case: pf: utg raise, SB 3bet, utg call (others players fold) - f: sb check, utg bet. this is not counted like floatbet in that user built counter, but for analogy,

i wish know if in this 3-way action: preflop: utg(dealer) raise, SB 3bet, BB 4bet, utg call, SB call - flop: sb check, BB bet, utg call, SB call, Turn: sb check, BB check, utg bet.
13) BB is PFA
13.a) BB makes cbet on flop.
14) flg_t_float of utg IS TRUE
15)flg_t_donk_opp of SB is true
16)cnt_p_raise = 1 for everybody

Sorry about all theese doubts, may be that having the script of the various flag would have helped, why i can read them and understood all specifics. It is possible having them? (AND BEING SURE THAT MY VERSION IS UPDATED WITH THAT SCRIPT, IF THEY ARE BEEN MODIFIED IN VARIOUS VERSION)

In the 3-bet case, (1), (2) and (3) are all true. I believe you are correct that (3a) is false, and would continue to be false for all cases, but I will check this to be certain. (5), (6) are true, (7) is false - the button only faces one bet that he calls - c's 3bet. (8), (9) are true. (10) is false as a cold call is only the calling of a raise when you do not have money in the pot previously. UTG had previously raised and thus cannot later cold call. That should answer (11). (12) The blinds can never cold call as they already have money in the pot.

For the float stat that I built that you are referencing, I specifically wanted to not include 3bet pots as the dynamic in 3bet pots is quite different (didn't we talk about this regarding my donk bet stat on the flop?). You could certainly remove the conditions which disallow 3bet pots if you would prefer.

Technically, for reference, traditionally the button is the "dealer".
(13), (13a), (14), (15), and (16) are all true.

With regards to a complete explanation of the database fields, please see the Database Schema, available on our documentation page.

ty krada, i had read the documentation, but in some spot it was not clear to me, example, about ccall:
If the player cold called pre-flop, then this is set to true, otherwise this is set false (a cold call is a
flat call of a pre-flop raise). (page 14) is not clear (sorry for my ignorance) that flat call is like you said: no previuos put money.
plus, it s not clear about flg_xxx.
example: flt_t_donk_def_opp If the player faced a donk bet on the turn, this
set to true, otherwise it is set to false. would been specified that the player must be PFA...
i think that if we can know the script about each flg, would be much better. it is possible?
if not we can built some stat that are disomogeneous from flag. (i.e. float flop_def_opp, i can write it valid also for not PFA)...

I'll ask about getting those things clarified for our next update to that documentation.

There isn't an automatic notification procedure, but I'll be sure to let you know once I find out.

WE HAVE STATED THAT IF (SOMEONE FACES A 3BET POT AND CALL IN POSITION) AND (CALL THE CBET ON FLOP EXECUTED BY THE LAST RAISER (pfa))... THEN (CAN MAKE ON TURN A FLOAT BET) IF (he has BET OPPORTUNITY). BUT WHAT ABOUT THIS SITUATION:
PF: HERO IS FIRST RAISER, Big blind: 3BET, THEN HERO CALL. (SO THE pfa IS bb, BUT hero counter of raise is=1).
Flop: (2 players) BB bet (he is making c-bet) hero call
Turn: BB check... now hero has the float bet opportunity? flg_float_t is true?

TY.
