Filter coloring in Custom Reports

I am getting pretty good at creating simple custom reports but I am confused on how to color code my stats in the custom reports.
I have no idea what the advanced options color expressions are and how to write the formulas. It says result must end in a call of r,g,b? and I am lost is there a chart or instructions for this?

Where exactly are you trying to enter the color expressions? There are a few places you can do it.
If you tell me what you're trying to achieve and what documentation you're referring to I'll try to help you out.
