stat utilizing another player's action...???

Postby MaxWeiss » Sat Jul 04, 2009 11:13 pm

I am trying to make a stat for how often, on the button, a player 3bets an isolation raise. So in order to do that, my cnt_iso_reraise_opp column is going to need to figure out when a player in the CO or Hijack (in a 6max game) raises after a limper. I know a column exists for raising limpers, but how do I make one for an action after ANOTHER player raises limpers?? Thanks again for the help with this....

You can't build the stat you're thinking of "Iso-raise opportunity" - because that information doesn't relate to you - it relates to your current opponents, not your previous hands.

You will have to build this stat from the point of view of the raiser (the cutoff or hijack) to show how often then raise with limpers (in fact, now I write that, "RWPC" does exactly this but isn't positional *) so can just use the information about whether it's an open raise [opportunity] to determine whether there was a limper already.
The database field is:
holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_open_opp

* All you probably need to do is duplicate and adapt the RWPC stat to include the raiser's position being CO or HJ.
You could then use a color range to highlight high values of this stat in the HUD, which would indicate your iso-raise opp (I assume?).
