Rake stat help

Postby Compgod » Mon Mar 23, 2009 7:09 pm

I can't seem to figure out how to either set up a filter or run a report to figure out the specific number of hands I have played the rake paid on that hand is over a certain $ amount. Confused? I'll try to elaborate

Say I've played 60,000 hands at $1/$2 Limit on PokerStars. Is there a way I can set up a filter so I know how many hands that I have participated in at the table have reached a rake of $0.40 or more?

Thanks in advance

You can do this either in a custom report or a custom statistic.
In custom reports you can filter on any stat you like, so this is probably the easiest way.
Create a report in the 'holdem cash hands' section and add a filter on the Rake stat (#Rake# > 0.40) then when you run your report it will list all your hands which raked over 40c and the total line will tell you how many hands this is.
Ah, sorry - you want to know when you've contributed too...
You can also filter for when you bet more than zero: amt_bet_p > 0 will do it (you bet more than 0 preflop).

If you want to be able to show this value in your reports you can create a custom stat for it.
I forgot, but I already built one. This is the column I use:
sum ( if[ holdem_hand_player_detail.amt_bet_ttl > 0 AND holdem_hand_summary.amt_rake > 0, 1, 0 ] )
You'll need to change it a bit if you want to check for rake over 40c, but that's easy.
The stat is in the 'holdem cash player statistics' section.

i did this in a very basic manor just filtering. All im using is the rake 40 cents and showing hand numbers. but waht i would like to show in the report is total hands looked at.

so there is a stat that says i searching 10k hands and here is the hands raked listing however many. Just a total hands stat, with out having to go look in the position/general section for that information.

can this be done?

im using version 3 build 4 if it matters

To do that you could create a Custom Statistic to count the raked hands, which you can then add to a custom report or one of the existing reports of the right type.

Have a look at the Custom Stats guide and Custom Statistics and Reports FAQ.

The stat will be in the Holdem Cash Player Statistics section, and you will need the database fields:
holdem_hand_summary.amt_rake
holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_won_hand
