what is PostgreSQL?

I don't know which to download, With PostgreSQL or without? Can someone please explain what exactly PostgreSQL is. What would be the difference between downloading the version with PostgreSQL as opposed to without it. thanks

You need PostgreSQL in order to use PT3. PostgreSQL is a database engine (think Oracle, MSSQL, Mysql etc). If you install PostgreSQL on your own, or have otherwise previously installed it then you want the version without PostgreSQL.
