A few misc. questions

Postby Alcibadies » Sun May 25, 2008 10:40 am

How can I see what postgre database version I have installed?
If I have 8.2.x,do I need to install v.8.3?
Can I have PT 2 and PT3 installed at the same time? I'm probably going to buy PT3 today, but I'm trying to avoid having to deal with a couples days of headache.
Where is the link for the 8.3 version of postgre? Thx a ton

You don't need to install 8.3.
If you already have postgres installed on your computer just install the "without postgres" version of PT3.
Please try out the trial version which is fully featured (except for the single database restriction) to make sure you can get it set up properly before buying.

You can most certainly have PT2 and PT3 installed (and even running) at the same time.

If you do decide to install 8.3 then just use the "PT3 with postgres" version.

Thx. I will buy PT3. I'm testing out install on my Vista laptop. Nothing but problems. I really hate Vista. I should not have the same problem on my XP machine.
