How to COMPLETELY delete one DB

How to COMPLETELY delete one DB

I have seen old DBs that I have already deleted at PT3 from pgAdmin III. Will the old DBs waste my diskspace? How can I delete them completely to save my diskspace?

I understand that Delete on the Database Management window completely deletes a database, so should recover disk space.
