unable to connect to PostgreSQL?

guys i was having some probs with my pc recently so i had to have it cleaned.pretty much had to wipeout almost everything but he was able to save a few items includeding my Pokertracker 3!atleast he said he would try to.when i got it home it was still on my desktop in a folder but when i went to open this message came up "unable to connect to any PostgreSQL databases,please make sure you have PostgreSQL running".when i click the "ok" my pokertracker opens up and its blank with no stats and instead of a list of players names there is the msg "unable to conect to database:pokertracker 3 database".im usiing windows XP and would really appreciate some help!

guys can someone plz give me some help?i know there are alot of post on here dealing with the same issue but there always seems to be something diff about each case!i know the fix is prob very simple but i have no clue and if the answer is already in the forum then i apolopgize but i need some help plz!running XP,have Kaspersky internet security and prob started after i had my pc cleaned to get rid of some viruses.he did pretty much wipe everything out and did have to reinstall my operating system!

Try reinstalling PostgreSQL per this tutorial and that will most likely fix things for you.
