can some1 tell me real quick where i can find them becaue im about to format my HD and i dont want to lose my DB :/

i mean i found the backup feature but my DB is 10GB by now and despite the fact that i have enough disk space PT says i dont have sufficient space or something.

Databases are not stored in a single file - they are stored in the "data" folder in the PostgreSQL installation folder, but making a backup will take less space than the database files themselves (although it will need some extra free space to create too).
How much free space do you have? Do you have anywhere else you can make the backup to?

I've had 200gb free space so it should've been enough. anyway i formated my HD and decided to leave my old DB behind as I didnt want to wait any longer. so the problem is now solved :/

For the record, our rule of thumb has 200G storing roughly 20M hands in PT3 . . . so that would be a considerable amount. Either way, I'm glad to hear you got things sorted out.
