MAC: "pkerstars seems not to be installed"

hi there...
problem: when i start PT3 on my MAC with PS running... no HUD comes up at all. was looking for the problem all over when I finally saw the message "pokerstars does not appear to be installed" in my PS configuration window. But PS is installed in the same place it always was and usually is.
Any suggestions whats wrong or how to change this?

P.S.: did not un-/reinstall PT or PS

That message can display if we are not able to autodetect PokerStars's installation. Please make sure Stars is set to save your hand histories and that PT3 is looking in the proper directory for them and then it will not matter that we could not autodetect the proper directory.

all is set correctly and PT is already importing hands properly as usual

Then please see the HUD FAQ which lists common reasons the HUD may not be displaying properly.
