MAC postgreSQL installation problems

Hi,

i installed pokertracker (latest version) in my macbook. The i get asked if i want to install SQL (9.1). The answer was yes. PT tells me that it is unable to download the installation file.

So i decided to install postgreSQL manually. Which seemed to work out.
Then i tried to open PT without downloading the SQL installation file. I tried to configure the SQL database with the default values, but another error occured.

"Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3 DB
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: FATAL: password authentication failed for user "postgres"

PLease help, i dont know what to do next. And yes, the firewall is set for pokertracker as well as for postgres.

Do you have a PostgreSQL folder in Applications?

Try opening PT3 and instead of the username postgres use the username _postgres (with the same values everywhere else) and see if you can connect then.

I un- and reinstalled SQL. Now it works... :-)
