PokerStars AHK

I am attempting to use the AHK through Pokerstars. They work, except when Poker Tracker is importing.
I use Windows 7. When I was using XP with my older computer, I was using AHK ( but not through Pokerstars), and it worked fine.
Since Windows 7, I am unable to get my AHK working....even when I run it as "administrator.

Try moving around the PT Icon on the table - PT doesn't interfere with keyboard bindings at all, so the only thing I can think of that might cause the problem is the location of the icon or the HUD on the table.

One side note though: PokerStars is now debuting functionality to let you use hotkeys in the client itself - so your AHK might be less useful very soon.

ISTR that running scripts whilst playing on PS was against their TOS, and that PS can "Look into" players' PCs to determine what other apps/scripts were running on that PC.
Am I wrong?

Based on my personal recollection: It depends on what the scripts do - if it's a script that folds you automatically - that's not allowed. If it's a script that lets you fold when pressing the 'F' key that's ok (since you're still pressing the key). But the latter is a lot less useful now that they have their own hotkeys in the program.

Thanks for the advice, but, even when I move the PT icon, and/or all of the HUD's to the middle of the table, or anywhere else on the table, I still have the same issue.

Which AHK script are you using? Is it a commercial script?

What script are you using? PokerStars itself does not provide any AHK scripts as far as I'm aware.

they do..... it's under "options" & "hotkey settings beta".

AHK is a scripting language - what they are doing there is different - and this is the first I've heard of a problem with it. We should not be interfering with those mechanism. I'll bring this up to the head of QA - please also report the problem so that we can notify you if we find a solution for this issue.
