PostgreSQL problem

Hi,
I am running the free trial version with the intention of buying when it runs out. But I've had nothing but problems all the way. I originally had problems at setup when setting up the database but got it working.

I bought 1,000,000 hands from HandHQ and imported them yesterday. It took a painstaking 12 hours during the day. I don't have a slow computer, I had the checkbox ticked to let PT move the files. :S Afterwards, last night, I played for a bit and the HUD worked fine, loading the hand histories. I thought that was the end of the problems.

Now today when I open it: I click on continue free trial. Then, rather than opening, I get a small window called "Configure PostfreSQL Database", with Server, port, User and Password already filled in. I click on the Connect button and get this error message:

Unable to connect to PostgreSQL database: PT3_2011_09_14_154259
Reason: Unable to login to database (PT3_2011_09_14_154259). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "???" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?

Theres also a link in the window which says "Browse databases" but if I click on that, I get the same error message as above which appears in a table. Can anyone tell me whats wrong? Im hoping its something really simple to fix.

That message is saying that your PostgreSQL server isn't running. Click Start, type Services, hit enter and find PostgreSQL from the list. Is it started? If not, can you start it?
