problem accesing the database

Hello,
my hard disk broke, and had to change it
With a LINUX bootable disk I could get to the information and copy all Pokertracker and PostgreSQL folders.
Reinstall everytinh in the new hard disk.
Intalled pokertracker
Installed Postgress
Copied data/base folder into the PostgreSQL/8.3 directorory
Copied processed folder into Pokertracker directory
Allowed in the firewall the 4 programs that in the firewall documentation said

Started pokertracker but it didn't find the database.
Tried the "Search Database" of pokertracker but didn't find it
Tried to Start the SQO service but it didn't work, it the Event View it was found the error: "2011-09-09 16:41:02 GMT FATAL: could not create lock file "postmaster.pid": Permission denied"

And cannot do anything else!!!!. Tried to change permission of the PostgreSQL and did't work

Please, I need help..., I had 200k hands in the database and I new to use pokertracker.
Please help me!!!!

If you have all of your hands from the old processed folder, you can reimport them and you should have all of your data.

Can you explain me a little bit more what you mean by "import"??

You may refer to this, and tell me if it is like this or you refer to another thing:
Install Pokertracker 3
Install PostgreSQL
Create a new database in PostgreSQL
Copy all my processed files intro the Pokerstars directory
Do a manual import from pokertracker

Is this what you mean???

That's what I mean but you don't need to move the files - you can use the Import From Directory option on the processed directory - it doesn't matter where the files are located when using that function.

Perfect!!!!, thank you very much!!!.
I had never used the import functionality, I always import by the autoimport option.
It took 2 hours to import the 270k hand and housekeeping of the database, but now it is exactly as it was before the hard disk break.

Manual import is built for speed and is much faster than auto import.
