Functionality Question - Work with Play Money?

I do apologize if this has been asked a million times, but my question is a little more specific. With the introduction of Home Games on PokerStars, me and my buddies have set up a league on there. We have a system where we actually do Play Money tournaments, but we establish a buy-in of real money that is paid out via PayPal so PStars doesn't get our $1 every time (sssh)

So, I am interested in purchasing Poker Tracker Micro Stakes since when I actually play for money it is lower buy-in SnG and low stakes cash. Will this version work with our Play Money tournaments?

Any assistance is appreciated.

Currently PokerTracker does not work with Play Money on any site. With the advent of Home Games at Stars and many people doing as you describe with their local friends, we are considering adding support for Stars Play Money, but I do not have any estimate when such support would be available.

Thanks for the response kraada. I realize you don't have much information on it, but would you suspect the Play Money would be available in the Micro-Stakes version of PT3? Or do you think it would take the full blown version?

I would expect it to be available in the micro stakes version, but that is just my intuition and I cannot promise for certain that is the way it will be implemented.

I'd LOVE to see this functionality. Especially since I live in the states and can't currently play with real $$$. I've been a poker tracker user for years now and it's officially useless now due to the feds. If I could track home games that would at least be something....

Except that I just bought PT3 micro (HE and Omaha) on April 4th, 2011. That means I got about 11 days usage for my $75 donation. If that's not a bad beat, I don't know what is. Might as well have flushed it.

So yeah, adding functionality for play money now would be a VERY nice gesture. Considering the circumstances, there will be lots of people that will use it. Plus, if you act quickly and beat HEM to the punch, we will tell all our buddies and you can steal some customers.

Play Money support for PokerStars, Full Tilt (sadly no longer relevant) and Cereus was added in v3.11.1 Beta.
