This is the error message i see.

Please advise the best way to uninstall then re-install??

Do not uninstall anything.

Reboot your computer and then re-run the installer.

I just upgraded to the latest beta from the previous 'released' version yesterday.

Found it was lagging my system so i re-installed the 'released' version today. I did not uninstall anything.

I am know getting the following errors in my PT3 when I try to import hands.

Full Tilt: Unable to import hand (#21436384592). Reason: Unable to execute query: COPY holdem_hand_player_statistics FROM STDIN;; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: missing data for column "val_curr_conv" CONTEXT: COPY holdem_hand_player_statistics, line 1: "188619 92341 92341 0 5 56980 2010/06/07 15:56:14 4 9 t t 1 t 0 f f f t f 0 f 0 f f f f f 0 f 0 f f f..." )

The beta modified my database, and I ran housekeeping after with no problems. Is the error i'm getting because my DB was modified? and is there anyway to fix it?

You cannot downgrade from the current beta to the previous stable release due to changes in the database. If you upgrade back to the beta things should work again for you - alternately if you create a new database that one will work until such time as we've fixed the problem in the beta, but you'll need to have reported it so that we can make sure we get it fixed. Lag problems are notoriously tricky.

Ok, i went back to the beta. I'll stick with it now.

But did the hands that it tried to import earlier get imported do you think? I just tried the auto-import and its not detecting anything. The hands came up as errors before. Just wondering if there's any way to recover that or reimport it if necessary.

Those hands weren't imported - run a Manual Import on the processed hands directory (by default C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerTracker 3\Processed) and that should get those hands imported for you.

What operating system do you have?
Check that the PokerTracker 3 folder is not protected/read-only - right click it and choose Properties. If the folder is protected then the files can't be updated.
Other than that, as long as you're installing one of the versions of PT3 on the Download page it should work fine.
