Unable to connect with Pokerrooms

Postby ichdaman » Fri May 16, 2008 9:06 am

Hello,

I have a problem. I get no connection with my Pokerrooms (PS, FTP) when I start the Auto-Import. The programm ask me to configurate the room-settings!?

Or is the problem that I have the German Version and not the English? Should I configurate anything directly in the room-software?

What I have to do?
Thank you very much.

PT3 isn't going to work well with the non-English versions of the poker client software. I know it's inconvenient, and we're hoping to support all language versions at some point, but it will take us a while.

thank you,

do you know if it is possible to change the German version into an English one? Is it enought to change the language or do I have to install a completely new version?

Thank you very much.

You need to make sure the hand histories are written in English. Just looking quickly at Pokerstars there are options for the hand histories language - Options -> Instant Hand History Options; window has a Language dropdown, so I guess changing here would work. There is also a language menu for play-in, and email-in, plus when you request tournament summaries or bulk hand histories you can choose the language.

PT3 will import hand histories as long as they are in English, but if the poker client software isn't in English, PT3 might not be able to find the table for the Hud.
