Newbie Questions

Hi -- Been playing online for three years but have never used PT before -- I just downloaded PT3 and I am importing some hands. A couple of questions:

Should I have separate databases for observed and played hands, or will the stats be displayed in such a way so as to distinguish between the two? (ie. if I autoimport 10,000 observed hands and 30,000 played hands, will PT know, when figuring my stats, that I only played 30k of the 40k hands in the database? )

Also, when playing on mutltiple sites, will PT group all of my stats together, or will the stats be separated by site?

In the Tracker, the stats will display only for the player you have selected. So if you select your player name, it will only show your 30k hands.

To group multiple player names into one, select the one you want to be your main name, go to the General tab, and under the "Aliases" label, click Edit. Find your other player names and add them as aliases.

Great, thank you. From what I have been reading, it looks like PokerHud is incorporated into PT3, so there is no need for PokerHud anymore -- is this right?

Yes, we have added the Hud technology directly into PT3.
