Question

Postby importer1 » Sat May 03, 2008 6:02 pm

When I open pt3 something comes up that says I need to create a new database or imports and reports might not work correctly. Why is this? Also, I did create a new database and loaded hands in it. Now I have some hands in my new database and a ton of hands in my old database. How do i combine the 2?

On another topic. If I start a session on Ap. 2, 11:55 pm and finish at Ap. 3rd 12:55 am are some of my results logged in for ap. 2nd and some for ap. 3rd; or because i started on ap. 2nd do all the results go there?

Thanks AGAIN for the help.

You need to Export the hands from your old database - see Database Management- then import the resulting hand history files into the new database.

There is an option on the Settings dialog to define "my day starts at..." - set this to a time you never play, like 5am, and sessions that run over midnight will not be split. ie. if you search for ap.2 all hands should show, including those that you played after midnight.

We made some changes to the design of the database therefore more information is being saved which will not match up with the old database structure.

Hopefully this is the last database change that is needed. If after commercial release, we need to modify the database, we will provide you a utility to automatically convert.

Best regards,
