Exporting / Backing Up HUD Config

Postby oracle3001 » Fri May 02, 2008 5:04 am

Just wondering if it is possible to export or backup a HUD configuration. By this I mean both the custom stats groups and their positions. Also in the final release is their going to be a layout manager along the same lines of PA HUD? I feel that the ability to configure and arrange stats for the various sites "offline" is a far better solution than only being able to do so while playing at a table and having to drag them around.

You can't import/export yet, but that functionality is coming. Layout Manager functionality is still up in the air. We'll see.

I can't even imagine why you wouldn't include a layout editor. Lots of people (myself included) are very particular about our HUD layouts, and that one chunky box of stats just doesn't cut it. At the very least, there should be a means of splitting the one box into several boxes.

You can already do this - click the Group tab on the HUD config window. You can add as many groups as you like.
(See Josh, I told you it should open on the Group tab... ;) )
