basic Q

Postby bigvb » Wed Apr 30, 2008 9:18 pm

on final version....

im going to stay with a mate who lives abroad. Is it easy to create a new DB and I use a new indipendant database on his pt and i use that and it doesnt affect his pt db. Also could i take over my pt files and add my database to his computer, so i basically have my home db on his pt in a unique new db that doesnt atall affect his databases. If so what data would i need to take to his house, all my hand histories, what about the ptrack db file? c

First, know that your friend will need to have his own copy of PT3. You aren't going to be permitted to share your code with others. Second, it's certainly an option to create a new database on his computer and import your hands into that database. You'll just need to make sure you have your hands importing into that database. You'll need to take any old histories you want imported with you.
