Making the HUD display data for the last X months only

Hello,

I'm trying to think of a way to make the hud display data not older than a X months.

My guess is that I could create a new data base every two months and populate it with
my last hand histories.

Is this the best way to do it?

PS. Does creating a new data base everytime makes me lose more than just the info
that is in the hand histories themselves?

Yes, to do that you'd need to create new databases periodically. That would mean that you couldn't see your overall stats all together, though. You could always maintain both a master database where you can view your total stats in reports and a set of separate DBs which are used by the HUD.
