Purge players without hands removes players from the database if they have no hands - this can happen if you import a full tournament summary, for instance, as any players you didn't play against directly will not have any hands in the database.

Sorry for the bump. WhiteRider, I think your explanation is not correct. See ticket 116859.
The Purge Players w/o Hands apparently does NOT purge players for which you have 0 hands but who occur in your tournament results. This functionality will only purge players for which you have absolutely no data, i.e. 0 hands and 0 tournament results. This can be the case if you previously purged cash sessions and/or tournaments.
I actually prefer this behavior as it would be a pity to loose big parts of the entire tournament results just because you didn't play versus those players. The drawback however is that it greatly inflates the number of players in the database. E.g. play in a 10.000 man tournament and you immediately have 10.000 players in your database... The problem currently is that large amounts of players cause enormous performance problems for some functions (like Alias Player, Export, and Purge). See above mentioned ticket.

Sorry - you're right. It will remove players with no hands or tournaments results.
